Questions and Answers
I’ve exceeded my agreed mileage on my agreement. What happens now?
All product terms and conditions vary. Please see below for more detail per agreement type:
Solutions - You will be charged excess mileage at the rate shown on your finance agreement and will be invoiced accordingly at the end of the contract.
Fixed-Price Servicing (FPS) - Unfortunately once you have reached your maximum mileage, your plan will expire.
Fixed-Cost Maintenance (FCM) - You will be charged excess mileage at the rate shown on your contract and be invoiced for this immediately. Please be aware that your account will be on suspension and therefore no work will be able to be carried out until the charges have been paid. If you have 6 months or more remaining on your agreement you can complete the form online and request a new mileage quote. Please ensure you read the parameters within the mileage increase page.
Contract Hire - You will be charged excess mileage at the rate shown on your finance agreement and will invoiced accordingly at the end of the contract. If you have 6 months or more remaining on your agreement you can complete the form online and request a new quote.
Why have I received a mileage amendment quote for my Fixed Cost Maintenance Plan?
This is because your mileage is worked out on a pro rata basis and your last odometer reading suggests that you are exceeding your expected mileage at this point in time. You are however under no obligation to take up the offer, just be aware that if you continue to carry out the mileage at the pace you are at the moment, you are likely to exceed your contractual mileage early, and will therefore incur a charge.
Do you accept mileage decreases?
Unfortunately, we cannot decrease the mileage once the agreement has been signed. Your finance agreement is based over a set term at a set mileage.
